The Glass Bottom Boat is The Coromandels number one scenic cruise, exploring Cathedral Cove and the Marine Reserve. Cruises depart daily from the Whitianga wharf and head out to Cathedral Cove, exploring the stunning volcanic coastline and sea caves along the way. View the marine life in and around the reserve including Gemstone Bay and the huge school of snapper. Watch the marine life through the glass or hop in for a snorkel with equipment supplied free. Our profession skippers and guides provide a fun commentary enriched with history and facts along the way. Ocean 2 provides the ultimate platform for a comfortable and safe scenic boat tour along the amazing Coromandel coast. Departing from Whitianga wharf we will cruise past the awe inspiring Shakespeare Cliff and view the unique Cooks Blowhole. We will cruise via the local marine reserve to the fantastic Cathedral Cove, swim if conditions permit in the marine reserve with the abundant fish life. Travel past the white sandy beaches of the Coromandel Coast. See the amazing volcanic coastline via the beautiful Champagne Bay to Orua sea cave before returning via the offshore islands to Whitianga.
